Our Team
Hello! My name is Stella Seashore Botha, and I am the owner and head trainer of Paws With Purpose Dog Training, LLC. I have been working with dogs for most of my life, and training professionally for 6 years. My passion for dogs started at a very young age. I grew up raising service dogs for an organization, spending my spare time interning at an animal shelter and working in a vet clinic.
As my health declined, my doctor recommended a service dog to assist me with my own disabilities, and eventually I got my own service dog in training. Like many service dog trainers, my passion for dog training was sparked by my personal service dog, Finnegan, who is the reason I’m here today. Training Finnegan, who saved my life on a daily basis, introduced me to service dog training.
Since then, I have interned under a variety of pet and service dog trainers, had a job as an assistant trainer, and spent hundreds of hours expanding my knowledge through seminars, internships, and courses. As a service dog handler myself, I have the unique perspective of both handler and trainer. I know firsthand the incredible benefits of a service dog. It is my goal to help other disabled individuals experience the life changing independence they provide; to help others the way Finnegan has helped me!

Finnegan
Finnegan is the dog that started it all. He cultivated my passion for dog training as I raised him from a puppy into my fully trained service dog. He now enjoys his time working for me not only as my service dog, but also as a role model for the program puppies I raise (which he takes very seriously).
Service Dog
Roulette
Roulette was my first Malinois, we met at an old job where she arrived as a green dog. We fell in love and she had to join the family. Now, we are prepping for her PDC and PSA1, which are earned through trialing in Protection Sports Association (PSA). On her days off, she enjoys frolicking in bodies of water and playing fetch with any type of toy.

Enzo
Enzo is my youngest personal dog who is training for PSA alongside Roulette. While PSA isn’t the only sport we compete in, it’s by far Enzo’s favorite. He’s a very promising young dog who I hope to take far in the avenues in which we compete. Outside of sport prep, his favorite activities are hiking and cuddling on the couch.
