Meet our program dogs.

Stride with purpose, one paw at a time.

Meet Elliott

Labrador Retriever, born on May 29th, 2024

Elliott is the pioneer of Paws With Purpose Dog Training’s fully trained service dog program. After passing temperament testing at 8 weeks old, Elliott was hand picked to start socializing as a future service dog. Since then, he’s undergone extensive training, health testing, and refinement to become the dog he is today.

At the beginning of 2025, Elliott’s applications were opened and we’re proud to say we have matched him with his forever handler. He’s finishing out his public access and task work, then will be going home later this year to his person.

Elliott is your typical, happy-go-lucky Labrador. I don’t think he’s had a bad day in his life! He is going to thrive as a multipurpose service dog for his handler, and he’s particularly fond of any sort of psychiatric work. All he wants to do is make sure you’re the happiest you can be!

Meet Phoebe

Labrador Retriever, born on April 18th, 2025

Phoebe is a star pupil, filling big shoes after Elliott. She’s gone through the same temperament testing, socialization, and health testing that puppies in the Paws With Purpose Dog Training service dog program are exposed to.

As of January 2026, Phoebe has completed preliminary health testing and is accepting applications to find her best match! Below is a link to the application.

Phoebe, like most Labradors, is a fiend for water and loves a good frolic - from creeks to puddles, she does it all. She has a fantastic off-switch, often enjoying time cuddling on the couch or in bed. Since Phoebe will likely mature to be smaller in size, she would not be placed for any weight-bearing mobility tasks. Her zest for life and powerful nose would make her well suited for any sort of psychiatric or scent-based work.
